For the third year in a row, the planet set record temperatures (1.78F, 0.99C above average, according to NASA and NOAA.)
“Most of the warming occurred in the past 35 years, with 16 of the 17 warmest years on record occurring since 2001.” – NASA
El Nino helped, but the main contributor was greenhouse gases accumulated from human pollution. There should be more to say, but the story’s been told so many times that those who are listening already understand it. More are listening, so the reality is becoming more understood. A more rapid understanding may require a more dramatic, and unequivocal, event.
