Driverless cars are crashing less. Like them or hate them, the early data is in and confirms early projections that driverless cars are ~92% less likely to have accidents and cause fatalities. Driverless cars may have flaws, but the data suggests that we pesky humans have more. Aside from personal perspectives and opinions, insurance companies may find it favorable to fix lower rates on driverless cars than on human-driven cars.
