Sea Level Rise Accelerates

In yet another way to look at the data, it is confirmed that sea levels are rising, and the rate of rise is accelerating. In the last 200 years, no century has as great a rise or fall as the 20th century, which had 5 inches of rise. The majority of that rise is due to global warming. We’re only 16% of the way through the 21st century, but already the number of coastal flood days have quintupled compared to fifty years ago. Get those sand bags or moving trucks ready.
