The Cold War may be over; but Mutually Assured Destruction continues to be a possibility. Whether through a super-power’s actions or misinterpreting actions of a terrorist group, there are sufficient nuclear weapons to kill millions, ruin civilization, and create a nuclear winter. It isn’t news, but it is a continuing situation that shouldn’t be ignored; especially, as Cold War weapons are aging, superpower protections are fading, and terrorists are more likely to be able to access or create their own weapons.
