Robots are taking jobs. But which jobs? Yet another study has made some guesses. The closer the labor gets to manual and repetitive, the more likely a robot can do it better. The closer the service gets to something based on predictable words, the more likely software can take it over. Some surprises: judges can be replaced, though what happens to subjective judgment? Roofers can be replaced, with insurance savings. Writers and coaches, however, are not expected to give up as many jobs, which is ironic considering how many articles are now written automatically. (Not this one, though.)
