Skip the jokes, and shelve the cynicism. The US is actually number one in wind power. People have applauded China, Germany, and Scotland for good reasons, but while the US doesn’t have the most windmills, or is generating a high percentage of the power demand, US wind turbines do generate more total power because of the great number of turbines and steady winds. See, the US can be #1 in something good.
