- In the US in 1989 the wealthiest 1% held 24% of the wealth. As of 2019 they held 31%. The disparity is expected to have grown.
- Climate records were set in the last 46 Junes, and 450 months in general relative to ‘normal’.
- Sleeplessness (<6 hours per night) in the US was 11% in 1942 (during a World War with impacts at home, too) has risen to today’s 35%.
- The planet is warming, but the Arctic was warming two to three times faster. Now it is warming five to seven times faster. Weather patterns may shift elsewhere, too.
