Some people are just born healthy – genetically. Genetically, everyone has differences. Much attention has been given to the downside, people whose genes lead to ailments, immune deficiencies, and vulnerabilities. Logically and statistically, there should also be people whose genes protect them from a variety of afflictions. That’s the way evolution works. Finding data on sick people is easier than finding data on people who are abnormally healthy, but a group is now trying to pull together the data, deal with the privacy issues, and try to identify genetic improvements designed by nature, proven in the real world, and hopefully leading to improvements for the rest of us. The Super Healthy are out there, and they probably don’t know it themselves.
