Shout at something loudly enough and it will move, but acoustic levitation is more than that. A matrix of ultrasonic speakers can be orchestrated to levitate small objects. While it may just look like a trick or a toy, the ability to maneuver objects without touching them can be useful in manufacturing, processing, and even medical applications (if it can be done internally). Magnetic levitation has been available for decades, but acoustic levitation has applications where electricity and magnetism need to be kept to a minimum.
