Red meat has a lot of opponents: climate, health, ethics. Growing the meat without the animal eliminates some of the concerns. Lab grown meat takes far less water, energy, and land than a ranch. Lab grown meat doesn’t require killing an animal. The health issues may be the only concern unaffected by the advent of growing meat from the cells of a living animal. Economically, it isn’t feasible, yet; but, as with most technologies the price will come down. Then begins the long acceptance for commercialization, though some groups may buy in early because it clears some of those hurdles. Will vegans eat meat if an animal wasn’t harmed?
