Trillions are spent on fighting terrorism. While terrorists should be fought, some perspective may be handy. Since 9/11, 26 Americans have been killed by jihadists. The number killed by racists, et al. = 48. In comparison, very little has been spent to fight them. Another point of perspective, lightning kills about that many every year for an effective rate that is 15 times higher. The narrative isn’t popular with the media, but it is real and true.
