Pick your apocalypse. There are many to choose from. There’s the pessimism. Optimism tends to show up with either a global common consciousness or technological marvels. The reality between apocalypse and panacea is probably tough times ahead with a need for common efforts and increased efficiencies. The apocalypse is coming! For many unfortunate people. Technology will save us! Or at least many of us, as long as we are willing to adapt. The future will probably be as messy as the past. That’s reality.
