Don’t blame Mother Nature. 84% of wildfires in the US are caused by humans. Recently, wildfires became recognized as a season, particularly in the US West. Climate change is making the conditions more likely for fires to start, and we’re the ones starting most of them. Some is intentional (arson) some is accidental (cigarettes).

We created the conditions and we provide the ignition. It is difficult to reverse climate change. Controlling 84% of the wildfires, however, is something we can do – if we decide to.
