Sad to say but the honeybee problem has not improved. Between April 2015 and April 2016, US beekeepers reported losing 44% of their colonies. That would be bad enough in any one year, but it has been happening for years. No one cause has been identified, though there are plenty of candidates. In the meantime, the price of honey goes up, and the worries about our food supply continue.
