“You can reach the National Suicide Prevention Hotline here or at 1-800-273-8255.“
Too many people are considering suicide. If the thought has come to mind, know you’re not alone. This blog exists because it is too easy to be too aware of all the negativity, and too easy to be ignorant of all the problems. Finding a balance can be helpful. Evidently, too many can’t find reasons for optimism. Too much effort has gone into reducing the support troubled people need.
“The report says the suicide rate nationally went up by 24% between 1999 and 2014, going from 10.5 per 100,000 in 1999 to 13 per 100,000 in 2014. More than 42,000 Americans died from suicide in 2014.” – Fusion
To those who say everything is fine, evidently not. Maybe with more awareness more people will find help in time, and more people will move away from political debate and move towards positive action. We don’t know the source of the problem, and it may be more than one source. This is evidence that we need a better world now.
