Technologies for solar and wind power are maturing and stabilizing. Innovations will happen; but, the existing technologies suffice. Tidal and wave power have great potential because tides and waves happen throughout the day and night, and because 50% of Americans live within 50 miles of the coasts. One real world application has been installed in Hawaii that is already generating power. Many ideas will have to be tried, but winners will be found. So, what’s the likelihood of an off-shore wind turbine coated in solar panels above the water with ocean power being generated below?
