In Greece, the banks are closed and the citizens are worried. Many people outside Greece are worried, too. There are no good options for Greece. Extreme austerity won’t motivate the citizens. No country is motivated to contribute massive cash infusions. In the meantime, the banks are closed and negotiations continue (eventually). A worst case scenario is occurring and no one knows what to do; except the Greeks who are have many opinions and ideas, but no consensus, either. People outside Greece are securing their finances. People inside Greece are finding ways to take care of the basics assuming a crashed economy. If it looks bad, it is because it is. If it looks uncertain, it is because it is.
