Confidence in the US government continues to slide. Congress has dropped to single digits (8%); but the other two branches can’t find majority support (only ~33%). These are all significant drops from 1991 when the Presidency was at 72%, the Supreme Court was at 48%, and Congress was at 30%. The causes are debatable. The consequences may be too. The data, however, are much more reliable.
