Want to get carbon out of the air? There are great technologies being proposed that can do the job – and make someone very rich. No need to wait for R&D. Plant a tree. Plant lots of them. Plant them now. No waiting required (weather permitting.) But, trees don’t have the same advocacy as a profit-driven marketing campaign. We’ll just have to do it because we, as individuals decide to. Besides, plant something with fruit or nuts and get something more than shade.
