Much of climate change coverage focuses on sea level rise, possibly because most of the media outlets and US government is along coastlines. The middle of the US is changing too, and water rising is the issue there too. Floods are more common. Temperatures are rising. The trends are slow enough to be missed within normal variability, but look at 50 years and data and there it is. The Midwest of 2015 isn’t the Midwest of 1965.
