Artificial Intelligence was a technologist’s dream for decades. Then, it seemed like it would never happen. Now, we realize the incremental improvements have brought us closer more quickly than we realized. Is that something to celebrate because of more efficient systems and machines that understand us more? Is that something to fear because we are creating something that can’t be controlled or undone? Is there a middle ground? There are more questions than answers, and the change is not waiting for us in the meantime.
