How’s the adage go? First they ignore you. Then they make fun of you. Then you win. Robots seem to be following this path. The video demonstrates the progress that’s been made in robotics. First, robots were clunky. Then, people made fun of vacuum cleaners. They’ve now progressed to squads of Kung Fu robots demonstrating techniques few if any humans can perform. People who want to laugh at, or at least make light of, this progress may comment on whether they have sufficient balance to deliver a real punch, or how long their power lasts, but those are technical solvable hurdles. What would you do at a parade or demonstration if you saw a squad of robots approaching up your street?
