Eventually, we’ll return to relying on news that is factual, apolitical, and significant. The factual news continues, though is overwhelmed by commentary. Significant events frequently have a schedule that has no connection to our wishes. Politics is amplifying politics, and will probably continue to do so until it exhausts itself or implodes or both – as evidenced by the history of extreme politics. In the meantime, patience.
