As records follow records. July just beat June’s record. Both air and sea temperatures reached record levels in July, just after setting records in June. The planet’s water and air are reaching historic record temperatures. Climatologists are not surprised. The record temperatures are affecting sea ice in the Antarctic, and drought and flood conditions around the globe. The trends are not encouraging (#MassiveUnderstatement).
