Carbon Intensity Decreases

The amount of carbon burned per dollar of GDP is down globally.

“Carbon intensity fell 2.7 percent last year but a decline of 6.3 percent a year needed for climate goal” – Scientific American

The good news is that we are cutting back even while the economy is growing. The bad news is that we need to cut back a lot more to meet our goal of limiting climate change. At least we’re starting to turn in the correct direction.
