New NASA data has updated the sea level rise expected within the next century. The range of estimates has been from 1 foot to 4 feet. NASA has concluded that a 3 foot rise is considered to be ‘locked-in’ to the data, and that the real number is probably higher. Climate change is accelerating and conservative estimates are proving themselves to be conservative.
