Maybe you’ve felt that you trust the government less. If so, you are not alone (at least in the US). During the Cold War, public trust was at about 75%. During the Vietnam War and Watergate is dropped below 40%. Now, public trust in the government is at about 25%. Do you see a return to the past, or a continuance of the trend? Either direction probably involves radical change.
