We Are Using Less Sort Of

We are actually using more of the Earth than the Earth can replenish, and yet, things are much better than they could be. We’ve become much more efficient in the last 100 years. It takes less stuff and energy to make stuff. The problem is that, even with the increased efficiency, our raising standard of living and growing population combine to consume far more than ever. Technology and frugality can be a powerful pair if we couple those trends.
