Statistically, getting a college degree increases a person’s lifetime income. As college costs rise and wages stagnate, the increased income is offset by increased debt. Statistics, however, describe populations, not individuals. In reality, more college graduates are finding that college cost more than it was worth. College has never been a guarantee, but it works fer even fewer now.

  1. The best bet is to go to work for a company that has tuition reimbursement. Become a file clerk at a big company that will pay for your schooling. Granted, you don’t get the real “college experience” but you aren’t in massive debt either!
