SETI (the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence) is listening and usually hears the same things every day. One phenomena is unexplained, uncommon, and very energetic.

Most unexplained signals are assumed to be from natural sources we don’t understand yet. One possibility is that the source is unnatural, artificial, manufactured, a sign of extraterrestrial intelligence. Maybe it is a signal that we need to decipher. Maybe it is a colossal industrial accident. Maybe it is the burst from some war between the stars.
One thing is for sure is, such signals are the reason to listen, patiently listen.
