The sea levels are rising, and faster than estimated. The baseline numbers from the last few decades were skewed. New analyses show that the rise is faster than originally reported and is accelerating. Those who accept the fact of the rise can adjust their timing. Those who hadn’t denied the fact of the rise are having the facts delivered sooner and to greater effect. Unfortunately, the accelerated rise suggests we are closer to or past the point of remediation.
