Record Warm US Winter

December, January, and February combined to set a new record temperature (36.8F) for the contiguous 48 US states. Each month is setting records.

“It now looks as if we now only have one degree of global warming left until we pass into what most climate experts now call a danger zone, where unexpected/surprising climate changes are more likely.” – American Geophysical Union

Of course, one possibility is that the danger zone has broad boundaries and that we are already experiencing unexpected and surprising climate changes.
