China’s growth has been phenomenal. Where many large countries cheer 3% growth, China is ramping down to 7%. Partly that is because the massive infrastructure projects are nearing completion, and the government is transitioning the economy towards consumption rather than construction. The adjustment must be managed, but the bigger issue may be the concomitant decrease in resources used and pollution created. Good news and more sustainability are the results.
