Unemployment has been dropping. Wages are just beginning to increase, which has more to do with supply and demand of workers than with compassionate sharing. At the peak, there were almost seven unemployed workers per open job. Now, the number is below two and falling. At this rate, parity will be achieved within two years. Wages are already increasing, and after the number drops to one, the power shifts to the workers. Some are worried that inflation will then arise as wages must rise. Economics, always a mix of good and bad news.
