Better Batteries Solve Interuptable Renewables

Solar energy is great, but the sunshine is only available half the time. Wind power is great, but the wind doesn’t blow all the time. Renewable energy is great, but only part time. We need full time energy. We need better batteries. Elon Musk’s teams, and others, are working on it. Done right and instead of sending energy back to the grid it would make sense to fill the local storage. Store it local, and there’s less need for transmission lines, and less exposure to interruptions.
