Flooding is becoming more common. Debates about climate change are moot when neighborhoods are stacking sand bags. Only a few cities have exceeded the “nuisance” level of flooding, but more will join the list each year. Direct evidence is stronger than debates. More people will be convinced that action beyond sandbags must be taken. The greatest unknown is how many how soon? Will we reach a tipping point before the planet does? Is it already too late?
