The sharing economy is based on the idea of decentralized, yet pervasive, networking. Communities regaining the power that was given up to central authorities or even just branding. A simple idea called Peers.org was launched, stumbled on some of the old problems with centralization, and caught footing when it concentrated more on workers. Peers.org isn’t a big story, unless you’re in the middle of it; but, Peers.org may be an example of how the new economy will arise from within the old one – not with revolution, but quiet evolution.
