Solar power is becoming popular, that’s obvious. The data, however, contain surprises. Residential solar power is now greater than all of solar from a few years ago. There are more jobs in solar than there are in coal; which has a downside in that the total energy generated by solar is so small that the energy generated per job is very low for solar. Fortunately, workers don’t have to keep shoveling sunshine, and if the sunshine falls on them it isn’t as bad.
